Details of Disappearance
Floyd was last seen at approximately 8:00pm after being dropped off by a family member at his residence in the vicinity of the 100 block of Lanai Village in Diamondhead, MS.
All of his personal belongings, including his two cars, were left behind. Price’s loved ones stated he was in good mental condition at the time of his disappearance. They believe he may have met with foul play.
Price wrote two checks totalling $3,000 to the same person on the day he went missing; it is unknown whether the transaction had anything to do with his disappearance. Investigators have a suspect in his case, but there is insufficient evidence to bring charges.
There were no signs of a struggle inside Price’s condo and nothing was missing.
2006 Divers searched the murky bottom of a golf course pond and sewer lines in the community for clues.

Hi, my name is Tammy Youngman. My grandfather Floyd Price went missing on 2, 4, 2004 from Diamondhead Mississippi. My family has always called him Papa, We love and miss him very much. The last time I saw Papa was in Aug. the year before he went missing. It has been an up hill battle to get any answers from law enforcement in Ms. They now figure he had been killed. But they have no idea where he is or what exactly happened. They have some idea, but I am not allowed to say anything about who they suspect. I will tell you their suspect committed suicide before they were able to get any answers from him. The suspect was in jail at the time on other charges.
My Papa and my family can use all the prayers we can get.
Thank you for considering my family for prayers.
